Declan Frith’s contract with Aston Villa expired in July of this year, and he was released.

It took him a few months to find a new club.

Eventually, he made it outside of England, when Valencia Mestalla,

the B squad of Valencia, decided to give him a go.

The 21-year-old took some time to get used to his new surroundings after leaving Aston Villa,

but according to Super Deporte, he is now displaying his “first sparks” for the Spanish squad.

This was said in the player’s most recent game.

In the Premier League International Cup’s third matchday,

he scored in the U21s’ 2-0 victory over Southampton.

As long as Valencia Mestalla can defeat Chelsea and other results go their way,

they still have a chance to go to the quarterfinals. The match was played in Totton.

The match was close throughout and was ultimately decided in the closing stages when the former Aston Villa player scored the team’s second goal

which also happened to be his second of the competition.

It remains to be seen if the Villans will ultimately regret allowing Frith go, but for now,

at least, he is beginning to demonstrate his abilities in Spain,

which can only be advantageous for both him and Valencia.

Declan Frith is an English professional football player who was born on May 16, 2002.

He now plays for Valencia Mestalla, the team’s reserve division.

He started his career with Welling United and later attended the Aston Villa and Chelsea academies,

where he played in the EFL Trophy for both teams’ U21 teams.

Frith joined Valencia CF Mestalla, the team’s reserve division under Miguel Angel Angulo’s management, on September 5, 2023.
