The UCL team showed “serious interest” in the 21-year-old Wolves star during the summer.

The Molineux representative was speaking following Bueno’s

signing a new contract with the club, after a brilliant year in the first-team.

After making his debut against Nottingham Forest in the previous season,

Bueno quickly became a regular starter.

He really caught Julen Lopetegui’s eye, and earlier this year,

the coach expressed confidence in the young man’s ability to

succeed due to his professionalism and work ethic.

Due to Bueno’s impressive performance,

Hobbs has now acknowledged that RB Leipzig did

express interest during the summer transfer window.

Given that Bueno praises after he signed a new contract at Molineux.

Hobbs has been praising him. The young player will now remain

with the team through the 2028 summer season.

For a player who has put in a ton of effort to get to

this point and has a lot of potential, it is a nice reward.

One club may be a little let down by Bueno’s new contract,

but the new agreement should help him stave off other interested parties.

Hobbs claims that RB Leipzig, a Bundesliga team,

was very eager to sign the Spaniard in the previous transfer window.

Hugo has been an exceptional professional throughout the entire journey,

even though many other people have had a part to play.

Wolves have the right to hold onto Bueno.

Hobbs did not clarify whether Leipzig had made a formal offer,

but in September, there were reports that the German side had made a bid of some sort.

The fact that Wolves refrained from selling the gifted young player is undoubtedly a relief.

After such an amazing full debut against Palace,

Bueno was very good the previous season and really nailed down that left-back position.

He was deserving of playing most of the games.

Despite not playing much this season because of an injury and

Rayan Ait-Nouri’s play, Bueno has the potential to be a very good player in the future.

He already plays a fantastic all-around game, as has been said so frequently.
