Alex Lowry makes his Hearts loan return.
Hearts manager Steven Naismith has been praising Alex Lowry since the agreement to sign the Rangers Academy graduate was canceled.

The former Rangers striker, who claimed he could not guarantee Lowry minutes at Tynecastle due to competition for spots,

has predicted the young man to develop into a “top player.”

“With Alex’s best interests in mind,

we decided to end the loan,” Naismith stated on the official Hearts website.

“Alex’s skill as a player is undeniable, and he has demonstrated his abilities on the field on occasion.

“But given how fiercely our group is competing for spots,

it’s unlikely that he will get the game time necessary to advance his development,

which is one of the main reasons he came here in the first place.

“I have no doubt that he will develop into a premier player.

We appreciate all of his hard work at Hearts and wish this wonderful youngster all the best in the future.

Even though it’s still unknown where Alex Lowry will end up next,

there’s a great chance for a team to sign the offensive midfield player in the near future.

who has been offered a new deal at Tynecastle,

is still rumored to be interested in joining Rangers.
