Aston Villa submit offer to sign 2002-born English attacker-The Hard Tackle
For Michael Carrick’s team, Morgan Rogers has been doing wonders, and his outstanding efforts have not gone ignored. Although a number of teams are
interested in hiring the 21-year-old winger, Aston Villa appear to be the team that has the greatest admiration for him.
Prior to joining Manchester City in the summer of 2019, the Boro winger was a member of the West Brom youth system. He was frequently out on loan
from City and never really rose through the ranks. Following stints on loans at Lincoln, Bournemouth, and Blackpool, the twenty-one-year-old eventually
signed for Middlesbrough prior to the current campaign commencing.
Rogers has gone from strength to strength since making the move. He has featured in a total of 31 matches in all competitions and has even contributed
towards 14 goals. His consistent performances and the ability to feature on both flanks as well as a striker have resulted in a lot of interest.
Aston Villa Want Morgan Rogers
Aston Villa are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks. Villa are quite impressed with what they have seen from the 21-year-old. He had an
impressive outing against them in the FA Cup earlier this month, and that match has played a huge part in the Premier League club making him their
priority target for the winter window.
Villa have been looking for a new winger since last summer. They have been linked with multiple forwards, including Crysencio Summerville. But nothing
has worked out yet. However, it seems they are desperate to have the Boro winger in their ranks. They have submitted their first official offer this week. But,
that bid has been rejected.
Their first proposal might have been rebuffed, but Aston Villa still have a chance and are expected to return with another bid. However, they will have to
rush as the window closes in less than two weeks.
