When the Boston Celtics play the Denver Nuggets at TD Garden on Friday night,

they will be playing at full strength. Following a one-game absence,

Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis will be able to play on Friday against Denver,

according to an announcement made by Boston on Thursday afternoon.

With a sprained ankle, White was unable to play in Wednesday’s victory over the Spurs,

and Porzingis was sidelined due to knee soreness. In a resounding victory over the Spurs,

Joe Mazzulla decided to start Al Horford and Luke Kornet in lieu of both players.

The defending champions, who are likewise on the verge of having their rotation at full strength,

will square off against Boston. The only player of note on the Nuggets injury report is Aaron Gordon,

who is likely suffering from a sprained right shoulder.

Boston enters the contest on a three-game winning run and hopes to build on its 20-0 season opening record at TD Garden.

Against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver fell short in the first game of a five-game Eastern Conference road trip on Tuesday night.

They will, however, get two days off before the game on Friday, including a workout in Boston on Thursday,

so they will be well-rested.

Friday night at TD Garden, the nationally televised ESPN game between the Celtics and Nuggets will take off

at 7:30 p.m.
