What Philippe Clement had to say about himself in La Manga https://dailysportnews.co.ukdidn’t sit well with the local referee.

However, Scott Wright listened intently as his Rangers boss laid out his strategy for this season’s triumph at Ibrox.

The huge Belgian made waves on Saturday with his bizarre dismissal after venting his frustrations at the referees during the bounce-game match against Hertha Berlin.

Wright, though, believes that the manager-player relationship has been strengthened during Gers’ week in Spain.

In an effort to bring the Gers at maximum shape for a crucial second half of the season,

Clement has put a lot of effort into his team,

working them hard in double sessions on the training pitch.

However,

he has also used the time away to conduct one-on-one conversations with each of his guys,

spending his evenings in such a fashion.

Since taking over three months ago, the boss hasn’t had the opportunity to sit down and figure out what makes each of his players tick.

Those open conversations have been crucial.

Wright believes that the Ibrox players, like him,

have benefited equally from the private tutorials as they attempt to absorb the knowledge that Clement thinks will help them pass the remaining exams this term.

“It has been excellent,” declared the Light Blues winger.

“Working with the manager this time has been beneficial, even though it has been a lot of hard work as we haven’t really had that opportunity.

” Having a block of time to complete extra training and present his thoughts is a wonderful idea.

That’s what we have here in Spain, and it’s fantastic.

It’s excellent that the manager has had individual conversations with each player.

Right now, he has more time to express his desires.

“He’s been able to connect with the boys a little bit more, so it’s been great to go as a team and strengthen the already solid bond.

It has been crucial to step away from the season as we are attempting to prepare for the second half of it. I spoke with the manager, who told me he got by with the group when we were here.

It was just a quick conversation to find out where you are,

what you can do better, and what he wants you to focus on.

It’s all about bringing out the best in each other, and that’s basically all he wants from his players.
