coach now that it has been reported he is leaving the New England Patriots. At the moment, the Dallas Cowboys are the subject

of most discussions.

Following their loss over the weekend in the Wild Card, there are rumors that the Cowboys are considering signing Belichick to

take Mike McCarthy’s place as head coach. After Sunday’s shocking defeat, Jerry Jones refrained from answering questions

about McCarthy, but it was not a good look for the current Dallas coach to lose to the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers.

But one well-known football player believes that Belichick wouldn’t get along with Shannon Sharpe of “America’s Team.”

Discussing the topic on First Take, Sharpe explained how the 71-year-old coach would purportedly butt heads with team owner

Jerry Jones.

“Molly, are you unaware that Coach Belichick desires power?” Sharpe remarked, addressing co-host Molly Querim. “Can you

picture Jerry Jones attempting to inform the media during a press conference about the team’s current state? Do you really

believe that Coach Belichick will just watch helplessly as Jerry does that? Not at all! It would be extremely bad.It’s an unlikely

match. The combination of Jerry Jones and head coach Bill Belichick is unmatched.

The former NFL player also expressed his opinion that Jones enjoys serving as the team’s public face, which Sharpe claims is

the reason Dallas fired past coaches Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcels.

“There’s a good reason he fired Jimmy! He eliminated Bill Parcels! Under Parcels, Coach Belichick gained knowledge. Jimmy

has more in common with coaches Parcels and Belichick than not.That’s not the kind of coach he wants. He aspires to be all-

powerful. “He aspires to be its spokesperson,” Sharpe continued.

Whether the subject is contentious or not, Uncle Shannon will voice his opinions. Regarding Belichick, it remains to be seen

what part he plays in the forthcoming season. As of right now, the rumors persist.
