After missing more than a month due to a hamstring injury, Chelsea captain Reece James has finally turned to Instagram to

the pitch fitter than ever, even though it may be a few months before he does so.

Taking to social media on Monday afternoon, James shared a picture of himself in the gym dressed in Chelsea training gear.

Alongside the picture he said: “On the mend. Hope and wish you are all doing well.”

It’s not the first time James has shared a message to his followers. Shortly after his surgery, he posted on Instagram: “The

footballing world knew I got injured but the procedure I would go down this time took slightly longer to figure out the best

solution.
