Cool Talks About Lagerbielke Celtic Exit

Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke, who joined the club from Elfsborg in the summer, seems set for a January departure.

Italy was billed as a potential destination for the Swedish internationalist, but a recent update has been given on his future.

Lagerbielke is no closer to leaving Parkhead than he was a few weeks ago, according to RecordSport (X). If the arrangement works out, he can depart on loan, but that might not happen until later this month.

Having played in just nine games for the Hoops since transferring to Glasgow in August of last year, the player will be as eager as ever to obtain minutes.

It is reasonable that a Lagerbielke departure might not occur until later in January, given that teams typically become more panicked around the conclusion of the transfer window and make loan deals when other

transfer plans fall through.

The defence is full of options, so Brendan Rodgers will want to get him out of Lennoxtown and back into the lineup as soon as possible. This season, Liam Scales has been at the peak of his game,

and Cameron Carter-Vickers is a constant.

Stephen Welsh is a suitable substitute when healthy, and Maik Nawrocki has returned to the game lately.

Lagerbielke is probably leaving in January because he seems to be lower on the pecking order than any of these Bhoys.
