Just eight months after leaving Rangers on a free transfer, Filip Helander is expected to sign with Anderlecht,

per a report.Because the center back’s final years at Ibrox were spent on the sidelines due to injuries,

Light Blues supporters believe this is proof that their team is “cursed”.

After making his final appearance for Royal Blue in April 2022, the 30-year-old was freed in the summer of last year after more than a year of inactivity.

A favourite of the support in his early days after some strong displays at the heart of defence following his move from Bologna,

the Swede began to struggle with a series of injuries.

However since signing for Danish side Odense, Helander has stayed injury free and performed well in the top flight.
