Dr Rajpal Brar claims that Ranger attacker Kemar Roofe might have to retire early,

much like former Chelsea and Real Madrid star Eden Hazard.

This is not the first time the Gers forward has returned for a few games only to be met with a protracted layoff;

it happened again.

According to the injury expert, there is a vicious circle of injuries that, if left unchecked,

may even force an early retirement.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

“His fitness is deteriorating, which increases the likelihood of further injuries,

trapping him in a vicious cycle of injury and reinjury.

As was the case with Eden Hazard, it can drive players into an early retirement if it gets bad enough.

“After Roofe resumes full training, a careful watch will be maintained,

but there’s always the risk of re-injury.”

Roofe’s Ibrox deal expires at the end of the current campaign, and it is unclear if the team will decide to keep him on.

The 31-year-old has only scored a goal on one occasion this season and has only started 25% of the games.

Although his adaptability is a crucial component, Philippe Clement will undoubtedly be taking

his availability into consideration because it presents serious concerns.
