Club eyeing Rangers forward for January deal as Clément opens exit door – Seen as the man they need
Sam Lammers of Glasgow Rangers is the striker FC Utrecht wants to sign this January because they believe he is what the team needs.
According to Dennis van Bergen of Algemeen Dagblad, the 26-year-old is the target of the Dutch team.
According to the newspaper, Lammers’ chances of starting for Rangers under Philippe Clément are now uncertain,
especially with the signing of Fabio Silva at Ibrox.
This has alerted Utrecht, who are currently searching for Anthony Descotte’s replacement because Isac Lidber and
Mats Seuntjens, the team’s current possibilities, have both failed to impress.
They are currently considering signing Lammers from Rangers, despite the fact that he is not as high on the Ibrox
hierarchy as players like Silva, Danilo, Cyriel Dessers, and Kemar Roofe.
Although Rangers are willing to loan Lammers out this month, no agreement has yet been made between the
Domstedelingen and the forward.
Therefore, if they can persuade the striker—who has had stints in the Netherlands with PSV and SC Heerenveen—
that there is a deal to be done, it seems that Utrecht is willing to move for him this month.
