Steph Curry’s Status vs. Toronto Raptors Revealed
Steph Curry’s Status vs. Toronto Raptors
Revealed Superstar point guard Steph Curry will
be available when the Golden State
Warriors travel to Toronto on Sunday
night to play the Raptors. Draymond
Green was reinstated by the NBA,
therefore this is the first game that he is
not mentioned on the injury report
because of his suspension. However, he
is still out because of return to play reconditioning.
The Warriors will probably have the ball
in Curry’s hands more often than not
now that Green and Chris Paul are
sidelined. Curry is the point guard, of
course, but with Golden State’s motion
offense, he frequently plays off the ball,
giving players like Paul and Green
opportunities to capitalize on Curry’s
incessant movement. The Warriors
might be forced to give Curry more
freedom to handle the ball if they lose those two playmakers.
The Raptors are in a very interesting spot
right now, having already traded away
OG Anunoby, and expected to trade away
Pascal Siakam as well. The Warriors
have been one of the teams with
speculated interest in Siakam; however,
nothing too concrete has been reported on that front.
With 17–18 points, 10th position right
now, the Warriors have very little room
for mistake the rest of the way. Golden
State needs to win every game because a
couple more could mean the difference
between a playoff spot and missing the play-in round.
