The Philadelphia Eagles acquired DT Kentavius Street and a seventh-round pick in 2025 from the Atlanta Falcons in late October in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round selection. That was a conditional pick trade, though, because Street had to play six games for Atlanta for the deal to be finalized.

Before hurting his pectoral muscle and going on injured reserve, Street was active in five Falcons games, including three starts. Street won’t win six games in a row to meet the requirements for the deal to happen. The sixth-round pick in 2024 will remain with the Falcons, while the seventh-round pick in 2025 will remain with the Eagles.

When the trade first occurred, it wasn’t disclosed that if Street did

rather than participating in six games, the Eagles would receive the Falcons’ 2025 seventh-round selection.

Stated differently, Street is being traded for the Falcons’ 2025 seventh-round selection. You get it? Nice.

Street had 4 tackles and 0 sacks in 8 games (one start) with the Eagles. Five games using the Street had 4 tackles and 0 sacks in 8 games (one start) with the Eagles. Street recorded one sack and fourteen tackles in five games with the Falcons.

As of right now, the Eagles are expected to select eight players in the NFL Draft of 2024. Eight selections are presently anticipated for them in the 2025 draft.
