As West Ham United circles, Max Kilman of Maidenhead United makes a comeback.
Maidenhead’s Vanarama National League Max Kilman’s sale might bring United back into the black during the January Transfer Window.
The captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers is allegedly being targeted by West Ham United, the holders of the
Europa Conference; last summer, it was Napoli, the Serie A champions. The Guardian claims that David Moyes is
planning a move for Kilman and is eager to add a new defender to his squad. The defender has been playing well for
Wolves, and West Ham knows it will be difficult to acquire him.
Kilman extended his contract by five years in the summer of last year, and Wolves would be hesitant to lose such a vital player in the middle of the campaign—they may ask for at least £40 million for the 26-year-old.”
According to reports, Maidenhead has a sell-on clause for the player who was sold to the Black Country side in 2018; however, the exact percentage of the clause is unknown.
Napoli’s £30 million summer proposal was rejected, and Wolves are apparently now seeking £40 million for their skipper, who inked a new deal in response to the summer’s interest.
Any such agreement should bring in at least £6 million for the Magpies. The team might still experience a “Scrooge McDuck moment.”
