Michael Beale in Celtic vs Rangers derby dig over ‘not letting fans in’

Regarding the away fans’ ticket distribution for the derby day, Michael Beale has taken a jab at Celtic and Rangers.

In front of an enthusiastic audience, the former Ibrox manager praised the atmosphere at the Stadium of Light

following his Sunderland team’s 3-0 loss to Newcastle. Although the Black Cats were outclassed by their opponents,

Beale saved his best praise for the spectators who generated noise during the game.

Beale stated that the cauldron was superior considering the quantity of tickets sold to visiting Geordies.

Approximately 6,000 away supporters were accommodated in the away section, complementing the 49,000

spectators inside the stadium.
