Journalist says “very talented” player wants to seal Rangers move

As per journalist Sacha Tavolieri’s update,

an attacker from the English Premier League is eager to join Rangers and has even “proposed to the club”.

News about Rangers transfers

Even though the Gers dropped the Old Firm derby last weekend,

they are still in the thick of the Scottish Premiership title chase,

trailing their bitter rivals by just eight points with two games remaining.

Though things haven’t always gone as planned,

Philippe Clement has done a fantastic job since taking over for Michael Beale,

and the Ibrox team—which is still in the Europa League—has a bright future.

However, Rangers may need to add more players during the January transfer window

if things aren’t going well enough,

since many players have been linked to moves to the team.

Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate of Everton have surfaced as possible choices to strengthen the defence,

and another player rumoured to be joining the Gers is teenage left-back Owen Beck of Liverpool.

The 21-year-old just made his way back to Anfield following a first-half loan stint at Dundee.

As a result of a recent update that has surfaced,

it appears that one player publicly wants to move to Ibrox,

even if Rangers are interested in signing him.

Emmanuel Dennis desires a Rangers trade.

Emmanuel Dennis, an attacker presently on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir from Nottingham Forest,

is said to favour the notion of joining Rangers, according to reporter Tavolieri on Friday on X.

“Emmanuel Dennis has been suggested to the team, but as of right moment,

no formal approach has been made.

However, I can vouch for the player’s interest in the Rangers.”

Between now and the end of the season,

Dennis might be just what the Rangers are looking for in the attacking third,

giving them the added firepower that could be so important in the quest for the championship.

With 52 games in the English Premier League,

the 26-year-old has demonstrated top-tier experience, tallying 12 goals and dishing out eight assists.

Former Watford and Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has previously praised the player, saying:

“Dennis is a very gifted athlete. I adore players that are quick, skilled, and constantly run directly towards the goal.”

In the Scottish Premiership this season,

only Abdallah Sima and James Tavernier have scored more goals than the Gers total.

However, Dennis has the potential to alleviate this goal-scoring problem and provide crucial contributions when

the big games come towards the end of the season,

providing Clement with a much-needed additional attacking option.

Dennis, who is 26 years old,

is someone who could be a force at the club for a number of years should

he arrive on a permanent basis at some point this month,

though a move seems some way off for the time being.

His experience in British football,

as previously mentioned, means he shouldn’t struggle with the pace of the Scottish game.
