After confirming his departure from Celtic on Friday, defender Nat Phillips received a humorous farewell from Alistair Johnston on social media.
Although Phillips was only on loan from Liverpool to Celtic for six months, there was little likelihood that his six-month stay would be extended given his lack of playing time and consistency.
Whatever genuine success Phillips could have had with the Celtic team was ended by the arrival of Liam Scales.
Phillips obviously made friends during his time at Celtic.

His personality and chatty demeanour endears himself to others.
