The “perfect moment” exists for Aston Villa to submit a new proposal to sign Rowe, Emile Smith

Emile Smith Rowe, an Arsenal midfielder, has piqued the curiosity of Aston Villa in the past, and now might be the right time to spark that desire again.

Emile Smith Rowe, an Arsenal midfielder, has previously piqued the interest of Aston Villa. Journalist Dean Jones

has outlined to GIVEMESPORT why it could be wise to try again to wrest him away from the north London team.

Villa, managed by Unai Emery, is hoping to maintain their great momentum into the second half of the 2023–24

Premier League and Europa Conference League season after having a strong start. Aston Villa may try to take

advantage of the winter transfer window to bolster their roster after making large transfers in previous seasons in an

effort to compete with some of the top teams in England.

Under Steven Gerrard, Emery turned the Midlands team from one that was fighting for a spot in the relegation zone to one that had a real chance of making the Champions League. They have thus grown in popularity among players throughout Europe.

Smith has had bids rejected by Aston Villa.

Smith Rowe  has been a target for the Midlands team in the past. According to The Athletic, Arsenal turned down Villa’s £25 million approach for the England international in 2021. The 20-year-old had broken into their first team and was starting to establish himself as a key member of Mikel Arteta’s squad, according to the source, and the Gunners had no interest in selling him.

Journalist Jones earlier stated to GIVEMESPORT that Smith Rowe would find moving to Villa Park exciting, despite the fact that he seems determined to stay with the north London team despite playing little. When West Ham United began showing interest in the 23-year-old early in the season, Arsenal is said to have been wanting about £60 million to enable him to leave. However, if they want to make money off of the player, they may have to drop their asking price.
