John Lundstram refuses Rangers trophy glass ceiling as he insists they’re still fighting for famous quadruple
As the Rangers continue to fight on three fronts, John Lundstram has refused to place an upper limit on what they may accomplish this season.
The Ibrox team defeated Aberdeen in the Viaplay Cup Final at Hampden last month, earning them their first trophy of the year. There’s also the minor matter of them competing in the Scottish Cup this coming week, the Premiership, and the Europa League last-16. Even though Celtic leads the standings by eight points, the Gers still have two games left to play, and if they win, they will once more be breathing down the opponents’ necks.
Lundstram believes that the team led by Philippe Clement have an abundance of belief. Lunny is certain that they can contend seriously for a historic quadruple if they are able to activate their injured players, Nico Raskin, Kemar Roofe, and others.
“There’s still everything to play for,” he stated. “Obviously, we’re still competing in all of them. We’re competing for the Scottish Cup, the league, and a spot in the final 16 of the Europa League. We have a lot to strive for, a lot to develop, and we are recovering boys from injuries.
“We can fight on all fronts if we can strive to keep the number of injuries down. Of course (there is a perception that we can succeed in these contests).
“There is a lot of faith in the team because we have demonstrated in the past that we are capable of winning them all. There are no boundaries when the manager and these guys are involved.
