Mosley said he was pleased with his

team’s ability to score in the paint and

get to the rim, though he noted the team

needs to adjust to contact around the

basket. Orlando (19-14) outscored Golden State (16-17) in the paint 54-46.

After the game, Mosley declared, “I

thought we did a fantastic job getting to

the basket.” “There were a lot of hands,

but I really liked how we attacked the

basket. We just need to learn how to play

through it and not worry about getting called.”

Orlando outrebounded the Warriors 41–

36 overall, with a 16–9 advantage on the

offensive boards. With 17 turnovers as

opposed to Golden State’s 12, the Magic

punched themselves in the foot.

Additionally, the Warriors made more

trips to the free-throw line—they shot 24 of 37, compared to Orlando’s 19 of 23.

Paolo Banchero, a magic forward,

finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and

six assists for a double-double. Banchero

made 8 of his 20 field goals and 3 of his 8

three-point attempts. Franz Wagner, a

teammate, scored twenty-five points on

ten of his seventeen shots, including one from three.

The Magic struggled to contain Warriors

point guard Steph Curry. The two-time

MVP scored 36 points, shooting 12 of 20

and 4 of 9 from beyond the arc. Golden

State had seven players score in double-figures in the win.

Orlando will look to rebound quickly

when it faces the Sacramento Kings (19-

13) on Wednesday at the Golden 1 Center at 10 p.m. ET.
