The Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic play  first game of the new year on Tuesday night.

The game airs on NBA TV and NBC Sports Bay Area, and it is slated for 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco.

Formerly with the Warriors: With their loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, Golden State closed the 2023 calendar year with a three-game losing skid.

Superstar Luka Doncic of the Mavericks surgically took apart the Warriors, finishing with a final stat line of 39 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds.

The Warriors had no answer for him.

The way Golden State handles Orlando’s enormous size advantage will be its biggest test tonight.

Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Goga Bitadze are the three players listed at 6’10” that make up the Magic’s front court.

Power forward Dario Saric is the only player on the Warriors’ roster who is taller than 6’9″.

The team is short.

The fact that Kerr will continue to use the starting lineup from their previous game, which included Chris Paul and rookie center Trayce Jackson-Davis, only serves to exacerbate the issue.
