Zach Cunningham is out for the Eagles’ game against the Cardinals.

Zach Cunningham, a linebacker for the Eagles, won’t be available when they play the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

Cunningham’s knee ailment will cause him to miss his third consecutive game. Cunningham was rated as dubious going into the weekend, but on Saturday, that rating was reduced to doubtful.

The good news is that a few important players for the Eagles will return from injury. Landon Dickerson (thumb), Nicholas Morrow (abdomen), and Avonte Maddox (pectoral) are all active and willing to play.

The seasoned Bradley Roby is a healthy scratch now that Maddox is back.

The complete list of Eagles inactives is as follows:
CB Knee Darius Slay LB Knee: Zach Cunningham
CB Bradley Roby
QB McKee Tanner DT Marlon Tuipulotu
OL Tyler Steen
Kyler Murray, the quarterback for the Cardinals, is active due to illness. Murray was absent for a few days from this week, but they’ll play the Eagles instead of practicing.

Rashaad Penny, a running back, is also engaged.

Following a pec injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Vikings, Maddox will return. After undergoing surgery, Maddox’s season appeared to be over, but he managed to recover. Regaining Maddox for the postseason is crucial for a secondary that has struggled to produce big plays.

To create space for Maddox on the roster, the Eagles placed tight end Albert Okwuegbunam on injured reserve. In addition to making that announcement on Saturday, the Eagles promoted linebacker Brandon Smith, who made his debut for the team last week while playing special teams.

Dickerson had thumb surgery a few weeks ago, and he missed just one game. Sua Opeta, a veteran, filled in. We’ll have to wait and see how much Dickerson’s severely bandaged left thumb impacts him in this game, as he practiced with it this week.

Morrow’s injury to his abdomen kept him out of the Giants game. He was rated as doubtful when he arrived last week, but following a pregame exercise, he was unable to attend. For this game, Morrow, Shaq Leonard, Ben VanSumeren, and Smith will be the Eagles’ linebackers.
