According to reports, Everton has their sights set on Iliman Ndiaye, an attacker for Marseille.

In an attempt to stay in the Premier League,

the Toffees have the chance to strengthen their roster when the January transfer market opens in a little while.

Ignazio Genuardi, a journalist, has now reported on X that Everton has a “particular interest” in Ndiaye.

The report does, however, make it apparent that Marseille are “not lenders.”

This implies that the Toffees will need to reconsider since they likely had a loan in mind.

Ndiaye appears to be being pursued by Crystal Palace and former team Sheffield United in addition to Everton.

Desiring Iliman Ndiaye, Everton

Everton’s performance has declined significantly in the last several days.

They had won their previous four Premier League games, but they have since dropped their past three.

Undoubtedly, Sean Dyche will seek to bolster his team,

and Ndiaye appears to be a worthy addition for the Goodison Park group.

Since moving to Marseille, his boyhood club, for £20 million last summer from Bramall Lane,

the 23-year-old has been doing well.

For the French powerhouses, Ndiaye has made 23 appearances across all competitions,

tallying one goal and three assists.

Along with playing at the 2022 World Cup, he has seven caps for Senegal and

is part of their roster for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.

“What he does with the ball is just amazing.”

Ndiaye was a Rising Ballers FC player before coach Mahrez Bettache praised him in The Mirror last year.

“A football player can be identified by the way he runs. He was a perfect fit for the role.

“He had a very smooth touch with the ball,” Bettache remembered.

“Iliman is still arguably the greatest football player and freestyler I know.”

He can perform the most amazing things with the ball.

He “isn’t just a fancy attacker,” though. In addition, Bettache said,

he is a “very hard-working and honest player.”

“He’s always defending set pieces or fighting in midfield.”

Although Ndiaye appears like a strong fit for Everton,

it might be challenging to lure him away from the team he always imagined himself playing for,

both now and in the middle of the season.
