John Leglue has been elevated to the standard practice squad by the Falcons, increasing the depth of their offensive

line that can play against the Chicago Bears on Saturday afternoon.

Leglue has been raised for the second straight game with this one. After Jake Matthews sustained a knee injury

during the Colts game last Sunday’s fourth quarter, he saw action at left tackle for eight snaps.

In the game report on Friday, right tackle Kaleb McGary was listed as questionable due to a knee injury. If McGary is

unable to play, Leglue might step in behind Storm Norton at right tackle. In the event that an injury strikes the front,

as it has in recent weeks, he provides a reserve alternative and has experience playing guard as well.

Despite not having a designation on the team’s Friday injury report, Matthews, Chris Lindstrom (ankle), and Drew

Dalman (ankle) were sidelined twice throughout practice week.

Leglue participated in six games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021 in addition to the game against the Falcons.
