.The Eagles play the Arizona Cardinals at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday at 1 PM to close out the 2023 calendar

year. As they wrap up their home schedule for the regular season, they hope to finish 12-4.

It’s time to visit a team that believes it is this close to bringing everything together and maintaining it that way, and

make the weekly trek around the locker room.

Jason Kelce: The performance on Monday was encouraging.

.The latest proof of the offense’s progress is the victory over New York. Philadelphia was in complete control of

everything it wanted to do as it marched up and down the field on offense and was halted in the red zone with two

touchdowns in five tries.

Center Jason Kelce sees the bright side of that.

“The turnovers as a team and the penalties we commit hurt us at times, but we did some very good things and Jalen

(Hurts, quarterback) played very, very well,” Kelce said. “The reality is that we have to keep cleaning up the things

that are very correctable. We’re going to keep doing that and we’re going to put ourselves in a good position moving

forward.”

Improvement. Kelce feels it. And he has the pulse of what’s happening, no doubt about it.

.”You realize that you’re playing terrific ball when you just keep working hard and paying attention to the little

things. Our routine is what we do. That remains constant regardless of the season. We simply need to keep trying to

get better at what we’re doing now that we know what we have. We’re 11–4, which is a good thing. Our goal in being

here is to continue winning, and we must do so.”

.Shaquille Leonard: Developing Your Eagle Spirit

Shaquille Leonard, a veteran linebacker, has been settling into the defense with ease this month. However, this

week,

he made his largest impression by recording his most tackles since joining the team, with seven in 54 snaps,

including five solo stops and a quarterback sack.

“I’m doing great. I have self-assurance. It feels nice, because I think the coaches are doing a terrific job of teaching

the defense,” Leonard remarked. “I believe that our defense hasn’t yet performed to its fullest. We still have the

ability to take away the ball, halt additional runs, and pursue the quarterback. We seem to be moving up the hill

toward greatness, in my opinion.

.”We have a lot to improve on, getting a feel for each other and so that’s exciting.”

When asked to evaluate his performance, Leonard stated he had “done my job” and that the objective was to “build

off that and continue to get better every day.”

“We’re taking this thing day by day and we know where we want to be and where we expect to be,” he stated. “It’s a

matter of everyone working together and staying on the same page and building on what we’ve done so far.”

.It’s Arizona’s lightning-fast quarterback Kyler Murray on Sunday, who has an incredible arm. Despite the

stylistic

differences between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, “the threat level is still the same,” according to Sweat,

who

played for the Eagles.

We intend to play with vigor. We intend to win a significant baseball game,” he declared. “This is meaningless to us.

We’re confined. Everyone is on the same page. Looking forward to this Sunday’s game.”
