Aston Villa could make a transfer gamble at striker

Aston Villa has emerged as one of the most unexpected teams in European football this year,

and after making the Conference League,

they have a real chance of making it to the Champions League in 2023–2024.

With the addition of Bundesliga star Moussa Diaby from current league leaders

Bayer Leverkusen to partner with breakout scorer Ollie Watkins,

Villa appear to be a force to be reckoned with under Unai Emery.

Aston Villa, though, is far from finished.

The Lions are eager for more as they sit in second place,

level on points with Arsenal.

Many intriguing attacking players, notably Jadon Sancho,

a winger for Manchester United, have been linked to them.

Aston Villa is reportedly interested in Juventus striker Moise Kean, per Sport Italia.

Although the former Everton and PSG player isn’t

regarded as the most reliable performer up top,

there has never been any doubt about his quality.

In the hopes that Emery can get the most out of Kean,

Aston Villa could want to give him a go.

Under Emery, a lot of young,

gifted players have flourished, and Kean is one of those players.

He puts in a lot of effort for Juventus and did the same for PSG in the past,

even switching to the right wing to make room for other players.

Kean is risky because his price is likely to be high.

Purchasing players from a team like Juventus always comes with a cost,

particularly for Premier League teams competing for the championship.

Juventus is also competing for the championship.

But if Kean’s promise is real and Villa’s manager thinks he can be

the one to bring this unique Italian talent to light,

then the Lions should take a chance on him at a fair price.

Aston Villa should be able to qualify for the Champions League and even

challenge Arsenal and Manchester City for first place in

the Premier League with the correct signings.
