to achieve the historic 20,000 career points mark.

In the win, he scored a season-high forty points,

making him only the eighth active player to reach the 20,000 point plateau.

The Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama was sidelined with an ankle injury throughout the game.

Lillard remarked, “I don’t want to pretend like it’s nothing.”
