With just three points separating the teams in the Scottish Premiership title fight, Neil McCann

thinks Celtic knows “Rangers are coming” for them.

On Saturday, February 3, Aberdeen and Celtic drew before the Light Blues defeated relegation-

threatened Livingston 3-0 at Ibrox later in the day.

The Old Firm rivals would be even heading into the latter stages of the season if the Gers win the

game they have coming up.

Since the Belgian’s arrival at Ibrox in October, Philippe Clement’s team has only lost once,

to their rivals at Celtic Park. But these days, not much distinguishes the two sides.

“Clement handles questions really well; he is very good with the media,” Neil McCann stated

in real time on BBC Sportscene on Saturday, February 3, at 34:21.

“I believe there is some internal energy and confidence in the Rangers team.

They’re already gaining ground and galloping. They can tie the score in that particular game.

Tonight, I’ve already talked about Celtic. I believe that because the players are aware that the

Rangers are visiting, they are under some pressure from the supporters.

It remains to be seen if Rangers’ December 1-0 loss to Celtic will haunt them come playoff time.

Rangers might overlook the setback, though, given that Celtic only lead the league by three points.

The two teams’ meeting brings back memories of the controversy surrounding Alistair Johnston’s

penalty shout, and how VAR was criticized for their conduct following the game.

That might only be a minor incident in a historic season for Rangers, particularly if they manage

to steal the championship away from Celtic. A few weeks ago, the Hoops were unbeatable, but that

lead appears to have vanished.

With three wins against nil in his last three games, Clement has continued his amazing reign

at Ibrox, raising his victory total to 18 since taking over as manager.

This season, they have the opportunity to win European silverware, something Celtic cannot claim after being

eliminated from the Champions League in the group stage with just four points from six games.

This season’s Scottish Premiership is expected to come to a thrilling conclusion.
