Club prepared to make deadline-busting offer for Rangers star today

On Deadline Day, Galatasaray is expected to submit a fresh bid to sign Rangers left-back Ridvan Yilmaz, according to Fotomac.

The Turkish news outlet, writing on February 1, states that the Istanbul club hopes to sign the Ibrox defender by Thursday at 11:30 p.m.

The club is now expected to raise their offer and get a deal accepted by Rangers before completing the transfer, with Ridvan open to

the move, after having bids rejected previously. For a while now, Glasgow Rangers and Rıdvan Yılmaz, the top left-back prospect for

Galatasaray, have been in talks, the statement reads. Galatasaray made an offer of 3 million euros for the purchase option, but this was

rejected. Galatasaray wanted to rent Rıdvan Yılmaz.

It is anticipated that Cimbom will finalize the transfer and raise the price. Rıdvan’s desire to play frequently and be included in the

European Championship squad is also considered as a benefit of supporting the yellow-red team.

Philippe Clement isn’t completely sold

Rangers can’t possibly let Ridvan leave the team at this late date, especially in light of the collapse of the Jefte deal.

Given that Borna Barisic’s contract expires in the summer and it appears that Philippe Clement isn’t completely sold on Ridvan, the

team was obviously eager to add a new left-back option.

But the Turkey international has been playing fantastically lately, so allowing him to depart now just seems like a step backward,

especially since there isn’t a replacement scheduled.

He has already replaced Barisic as Ibrox’s first-choice left-back due to his current form, and if he keeps up this level of play, there is no

reason to drop him, so he will play regularly, which is what he wants.

At this point in the window, the door on this deal should be bolted shut and no one should pick up the phone, unless it’s an offer the

club can’t refuse.
