No More Roadblocks – Celtic Set to Complete Second January Signing
The expected transfer of Sydney van Hooijdonk to Norwich City has essentially
removed a major roadblock for Celtic’s pursuit of Adam Idah.

but now that van Hooijdonk has agreed to join the Canaries, this need has been satisfied.
Van Hooijdonk is expected to join the side now that the hurdle has been removed,
according to Mark Hendry. The Republic of Ireland international,
Idah, 22, has been in talks with Celtic in an attempt to bolster their offensive line
during the current transfer window. The Asian Cup has kept Celtic’s striker Oh away from home,
making them more in need of offensive reinforcements.
Sydney van Hooijdonk was linked to Celtic during the January transfer window.
But now that van Hooijdonk is expected to sign a contract with Norwich City,
Celtic’s attention is on completing Idah’s loan agreement.
Celtic supporters continue to feel unsatisfied despite these advancements.
In the transfer window, Brendan Rodgers has not delivered on his promises to sign
three or four “quality” players. Celtic supporters are left hoping for more big
