Journalist Dom Smith of the Standard claimed on January 15 that Rangers had made a move for the attacker, a 21-year-

old from Argentina, who was also apparently attracting interest from Fulham, Sevilla, and Nice.

Ferguson, though, believes it would be smarter for Rangers to occasionally look closer to home at individuals who have

previously demonstrated their ability to compete in the Scottish Premiership.

“I don’t know a lot about the boy or Argentinian football, but coming here, different culture, it’s going to take time to

settle in,” Ferguson stated in an exclusive interview with Ibrox News.

There have been rumors of certain players, possibly even in our league,

who could be acquired for a tonne of less money.

“I’m talking about the boy Armstrong at Kilmarnock who any time I’ve watched the boy over the last two or three

years he’s always impressed.

“I don’t know enough about the boy (Langoni); sometimes, names are just thrown around; for me, it takes time to settle

because these are guys that are coming from all over the world.”

Not just with teammates, but also with other foods, lifestyles, and cultural practices. To be honest with you, I don’t think

I would choose that path.
