Hull City owner Acun Ilicali has urged Ridvan Yilmaz to make a

“urgent” move to Galatasaray because he is in the “wrong place” at Rangers.

The Turkey full-back came from Besiktas in July 2022,

but he has been linked with a return to the Turkish Super Lig with Galatasaray.

Derek Clark wrote on X on Monday (January 29) that Gala

has more money to spend in their pursuit of Yilmaz but have yet to meet the asking price,

which is thought to be as high as €6 million (£5.1 million). Futbol Arena on 22 January.

Media billionaire Ilicali, the Turkish owner of Championship club Hull,

believes Yilmaz should return to his homeland.

“Rıdvan Yılmaz went to the wrong location.” He has to make an urgent comeback, such returns are effective.

Galatasaray management knows the best, but it can do good things in the Turkish quota,

” he said on Beyaz TV in quotes reported by Cumhuriyet (January 29).

In my opinion, this equation could not be much simpler.

Gala appears to genuinely want Yilmaz.

Rangers are naturally hesitant to sell this late in the transfer window, but every player has a price,

and the 22-year-old has only recently begun to see extensive playing time in the team.

But if a deal is to be struck, Gala must pay the asking price; there is no gray area here.

Do you want the player? Pay the price. Simple. Done. Otherwise, these continuous updates are worthless.

To be honest, I don’t see why the Hull owner is concerned because it has nothing to do with him.

That being said, it all leads to the same conclusion, doesn’t it? Rangers might consider a sale if the money is right.

So far it isn’t right so they haven’t sold.

This close to the end of the window it really is difficult to believe that selling Yilmaz is the best option.
