In response to the news that Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has formally announced his retirement from football, Alan Brazil and Ray

Parlour have responded.

ConversationSPORT host Brazil stated on the program on Friday, January 26, at 06:51 a.m., that the 39-year-old had a “fantastic career”

after the Gers verified the news on their website on Thursday, January 25.

Parlour added that the Northern Irishman was a “good little player” and was “very consistent” as he congratulated him on making 140 caps

Parlour continued, “A good little player, very consistent as a midfielder wasn’t he.” “Kept things straightforward and intervened as

necessary. He also received a good number of caps.

Brazil remarked, “He obviously had a fantastic career.”

Parlour said, “Someone texted us in, 140 caps for Steven Davis.” “So, awesome, well done.”

Amazing

It’s wonderful to see Davis getting the recognition he deserves for his career after proving to be a fantastic asset to several teams and to

football in general.

He has made the most of his time in the game and has been a fantastic role model over the past 20 years with his unwavering excitement

and professionalism.

It’s unfortunate that he was unable to end his career on a high note, but after battling ailments recently, it’s obvious he felt that this was the

proper time.

Over the course of two seasons, the Northern Irishman made 359 appearances for the Gers, earning him a spot in the Ibrox Hall of Fame.

He was instrumental in four of the Light Blues’ championship victories, and he will be cherished for the several valiant performances he

gave while wearing a Light Blues shirt.

While talks are still going on at Ibrox, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on transfers for the Rangers.
