Mohamed Diomande’s arrival at Rangers has been postponed by Storm Isha whilst Philippe Clement nears sealing his second winter signing.

On Sunday, rumors circulated that the Light Blues were gaining ground on the Ivorian, who played for FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark for more than a century and came via the Right to Dream Academy. Before completing his relocation to Ibrox, he was supposed to travel to Glasgow Airport on Monday; but, the storms that have devastated the country and its transportation infrastructure have prevented that.

As per the Rangers Review, Diomande’s arrival has been “delayed” and the plan involving the 22-year-old has been “altered” due to the storms. However, fans can exhale with ease knowing that this is not a problem that puts the move in peril. After a medical, he will now relocate in the upcoming days and join Clement’s side.

This month, Rangers has already brought in striker Fabio Silva on loan from Wolves. This Wednesday is their Premiership match against Hibs.
