Taylor Swift-themed food will be on the menu at Bills-Chiefs playoff game
One of the recently introduced dishes is Bad Blood Waffle Fries, which have two toppings: Buffalo chicken and Kansas City
Cattleman’s BBQ pork.
In addition to preparing to welcome the Chiefs’ “star-studded” fan base with a new menu featuring Taylor Swift, the Buffalo Bills are
set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL playoffs on Sunday in the divisional round.
The Bills and Delaware North, the team’s food service provider at Highmark Stadium, are preparing a special culinary welcome for
Taylor Swift, who is rumored to be dating Travis Kelce of the Chiefs, should she choose to attend the game on Sunday.
Two dishes that are sure to please Swift fans are the Karma Quesadilla and the Bad Blood Waffle Fries, which are named after two of
Swift’s popular songs.
Menu for the Divisional playoff game
Delaware North’s general manager at Highmark Stadium, Andy Altomare, stated, “Our culinary team has again designed a great menu
for the Divisional playoff game this weekend, with several new items for fans as they cheer on the Bills.” “We really enjoyed creating
this week’s menu, which includes a few new items honoring our amazing rivalry with the Chiefs and their illustrious fan base.”
Each city’s “culinary specialty” is honored in the “2-foot display” of waffle fries, which come in two varieties: one with Buffalo chicken
and blue cheese and the other with Kansas City Cattleman’s BBQ pork, cole slaw, and bread-and-butter pickles.
The Karma Quesadilla features a pork belly chaser on top and is filled with chicken tenders, bacon, and cilantro ranch.
Throughout the season, Swift has supported her partner at several Chiefs games, primarily at Arrowhead Stadium, their home field.
Although Swift did make an appearance at an earlier season game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, it is
uncertain if she will attend Sunday’s playoff game.
In addition, Highmark is introducing a Kansas City Bowl of Tears BBQ to its Sunday menu, which includes a ton of mac & cheese,
pulled pork, jalapeño, roasted corn, cornbread croutons, and pickled red onion, in case you’re not into Swiftie snacks.
On Sunday, fans can look forward to many Bills-themed menu items, such as the Grape Davis drink, as well as several season-long
classics, like fried chicken and waffle sandwiches and 2-foot nachos.
The Bills catered to the visiting supporters during last week’s AFC wild card game against the Steelers by providing some unique menu
items, such as half-loaded waffle fries with pastrami, cole slaw, and shredded cheese in honor of Pittsburgh.
