Luke Thompson and Adam Keighran are both expected to return to Matt Peet’s 21-man squad, giving the Wigan Warriors a huge boost before their trip to Hull FC. Prior to their match against the Black and Whites on Sunday, the Warriors will announce their expanded roster, and All Out Rugby League is aware that Thompson and Keighran will be among them.
While goal-kicking center Keighran has missed six weeks of play due to an MCL injury sustained in the Challenge Cup loss to Hull FC in March, England prop Thompson has missed the previous two games due to a calf injury. However, Keighran is eligible for selection sooner than planned, and Thompson has been cleared to participate.
The Australian will be included in Peet’s squad later today, six weeks after sustaining the injury that had kept him out for eight to ten weeks.
