Jalen Ramsey Gets Honest On His Role Against Cowboys Star WR
Jalen Ramsey Gets Honest On His Role Against Cowboys Star WR The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys’
Week 16 matchup will eventually determine how both teams are
ranked for their respective postseason runs.
With a slender chance to finish as the top seed, both teams (10-4) might win their respective divisions.
One of the biggest matchups of this game, though, is between Dolphins star cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb.
Ramsey has been a stud in the secondary since he returned from injury in Week 8, while Lamb ranks second in receptions, fourth in
receiving yards, and sixth in receiving touchdowns amid a career year for the wideout.
But even though this could be the marquee duel of the night, Ramsey noted he might not shadow Lamb for the entirety of the game.
In just 11 receptions for 154 yards and no touchdowns on 27 targets this season, Ramsey has already had three interceptions.
Additionally, for those he covers, he has only given up 39 total yards after the catch.
Though these are exceptional stats, the six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is no stranger to success.
Ramsey joined the Dolphins in an offseason trade from the Los Angeles Rams but suffered a torn meniscus during the summer and was placed on injured reserve before the season started.
He’s been back for weeks, though, and has re-established himself as a premier cornerback in the Dolphins’ defense.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ No. 2 scoring offense and No. 6 passing offense should present an interesting challenge, though.
