After a series of fouls, the manager accused the rival players of kicking Lundstram off the field. He also cautioned that,

given the force of the challenges, his men might have broken legs.

Lundstram might therefore be sidelined for Rangers until after the winter break, which would be a

devastating blow for him to miss the Old Firm match at Parkhead on December 30.

“It’s another player who is kicked off the pitch, so I am really frustrated with that,” Clement angrily exclaimed after the game,

according to the Belfast News Letter. We’ll find out in the next days what transpires since it’s his ankle.

“This is the major thing that worried me after the game—a player was sent off the field once more.

That’s not a favorable position because I doubt we can get him back before winter break.

However, putting your studs forward in that manner obviously wasn’t a good challenge. Later in the game, we experienced an even

worse one where the guy, fortunately, did not strike my player, but the intensity was enough to break a leg. Such items are

An ever-worsening crisis

Lundstram’s injury brings him closer to the increasing number of Ibrox stars who have missed time due to injury.

To make matters worse for Clement, Kemar Roofe was also benched against St Johnstone.

Danilo, Tom Lawrence, Nicolas Raskin, Zak Lovelace, and Jose Cifuentes are among the important players

who are now receiving therapy. Although there has been some relief with the return of Todd Cantwell and Scott Wright,

the boss’s circumstances at Ibrox remain unfavorable.

Lundstram’s injury in particular will come as a bitter blow to Rangers. He has been one of their most consistent performers so far this

season and usually steps up to the plate when called upon, particularly amid this injury crisis, so his absence will be felt.

Heading into an Old Firm clash at Parkhead in just over a week’s time on 30 December,

Rangers would have been hoping to see some

of their injured stars return. Instead, it looks like even more will be missing through no fault of their own.
