Celtic Legend Identifies Two Causes For Bhoys’ Slump, Neither Involve Brendan Rodgers
Celtic great John Hartson has pinpointed two potential issues at Parkhead,
and he is pointing the finger at the players rather than Brendan Rodgers.
The Bhoys have had a difficult December thus far,
as their losses to Kilmarnock and Hearts in the Scottish Premiership have completely opened up the title race.
Supporters are starting to have doubts about Rodgers’ team since they seem like a shadow of the Celtic team that Ange Postecoglou led last season.
Rangers’ problems could get worse if they defeat St Johnstone at Ibrox on Wednesday night and get within two points of Celtic.
The Celtic icon Hartson has thought about what’s wrong at Parkhead and has identified two potential solutions, neither of which include the manager.
On X, the ex-striker wrote: “There could be two issues at Celtic.”
Some of the players believe they are better than they actually are, and they are coasting.
“Secondly, the players are not giving the manager their all.”
When the January transfer window opens, Celtic is expected to support Rodgers in the transfer market,
but they also have a game against Rangers scheduled for before
the new year that might be a pivotal one in determining the winner of the championship.
