Celtic star in training despite Wednesday injury fear as one misses out
On Friday morning, Luis Palma was at Celtic training as the Hoops got ready for Hearts’ visit.
Given the scarcity of options in the wide areas, Luis Palma’s availability for
Celtic’s forthcoming game against Hearts is a huge boost for the team.
Maeda is back in training, though.
After taking a hard hit to the face, Palma
who had opened the score for Celtic with a well-taken penalty
had to be replaced, which raised questions about his availability for the following encounter.
The Celtic website did not feature a photo of Tomoki Iwata during training.
The winger was substituted by Mitchel Frame,
who played out of position to earn his Celtic senior debut.
Making his debut in a fantastic game,
he showed promise on the left wing and refused to let the pressure get to him.
The young player is expected to play a bigger role for Celtic in the upcoming games,
either starting or starting from the bench.
Tomoki Iwata, a Japanese professional football player,
was born on April 7, 1997.
He plays defensive midfield for both Celtic and the Japan national team.
Iwata signed a one-year loan agreement with Celtic of the Scottish Premiership on December 30, 2022,
which included a mandatory buyout provision. Iwata and his former Yokohama boss,
Ange Postecoglou, have reconnected as a result of this. Iwata made his club debut on January 21, 2023,
when the team defeated Greenock Morton 5-0 in the Scottish Cup.
In July 2023, Celtic announced that Iwata had joined the team permanently.
Born on January 17, 2000, Luis Enrique Palma Oseguera is a professional football player from
Honduras who plays as a winger for both the Honduran national team and Scottish Premiership club Celtic.
Palma agreed to a five-year contract with Scottish club Celtic on August 30, 2023.
