In an attempt to capture 25-year-old French attacker Odsonne Edouard, West Ham United would raid Crystal Palace, a competing London club.
West Ham United is reportedly interested in Odsonne Edouard,
according to a report by Football Transfers. Entering the January transfer window,
the Hammers are looking for a striker. Thus, the 25-year-old attacker for Crystal Palace has been a serious contender for the East London team.
Odsonne Edouard: A Tale of Inconsistency
Odsonne Edouard has had difficulty establishing his dominance since leaving Celtic to join Crystal Palace in August 2021. The Frenchman, a former PSG trainee, gained notoriety after relocating to Scotland.
He spearheaded the charge for the Scottish behemoths and frequently scored goals for pleasure.
Since moving to the Premier League, though, Edouard has not achieved the
same heights as during his time at Celtic. Despite his occasional displays of talent, the 25-year-old has not been a reliable player for the South London club. This season has also shown that;
although he had a strong start to the season, his play has waned in the final few weeks.
The former Celtic striker has made 13 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.
