Prior to Liverpool game, Fulham boss reveals four absentees but welcomes back the £60 million star

Prior to their journey to Anfield this weekend to play Liverpool,

Fulham manager Marco Silva has disclosed the severity of his team’s injuries.

With three wins, four losses, and one draw since the beginning of October,

the Cottagers’ season has been inconsistent,

which is definitely a fair way to sum up their recent performances.

Their most recent success, a 3-2 victory against Wolves,

has been clouded in controversy due to contentious VAR calls,

and the Premier League has now declared that their last-minute penalty was a blatant error.

In spite of this, they gained confidence from the victory,

which allowed them capture three points for the first time since they defeated Sheffield United on October 7.

Joao Palhinha, a midfield player for Silva’s team,

is available to play ahead of Klopp’s team after missing the victory against Wolves due to suspension.

With 52 tackles, the Portuguese midfielder leads the league by a wide margin.

That’s 12 more than the next-place player and 23 more than the leading Liverpool player, Alexis Mac Allister.

Among the players who won’t be available is defender Issa Diop,

who is practicing with the club more but is still healing and not yet ready.

Moreover, Tyrese Francois (knock), Adama Traore (thigh), and Rodrigo Muniz (knee) are not available.

Several players had a chance to participate in the 4-0 victory against LASK over the week,

but important players like Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Trent Alexander-Arnold,

and Ibrahim Konate were rested. Klopp is lucky to have an almost completely fit roster to pick from.

Long-term absentees from the team include Thiago (hip),

Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Andy Robertson (shoulder), and Alisson Becker,

who they are hopeful will return before their match against Manchester United on December 17.

Additionally, Klopp disclosed that Diogo Jota is absent and may be sidelined for an extended period of time:

“Both are out.” It is less with Ali. day by day.

Not on Sunday, and probably not the next week, but it should be fine after that.

We’re not sure how long it will take with Diogo, but it will be a little more severe.
