Now that the guidelines are clear, let’s examine Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s

Fit

Eddie Howe prefers his teams to use a target-man type of player who is agile,

has the ability to score with his head, and can also use flick-ons and

knockdowns to give Newcastle attack versatility.

The Toon can play on second balls after going direct,

but they are also skilled at constructing in wide areas and using deft crossing into the box.

Calvert-Lewin would be happy with that recipe.

Additionally, he has the kind of work rate that Howe looks for in order for his team to attack from the front.

Newcastle already has two excellent center-forwards in Callum Wilson

and Alexander Isak. The veteran Englishman continues to be a consistent goal scorer,

but the 24-year-old Swede is the starter and has the potential to

become one of the best in the world at his position.
