Philippe Clement has a tight calendar for the Rangers, with 12 games in 37 days leading up to Christmas break,
With six victories and a tie from their first seven games under new manager Philippe Clement,
Rangers have made a relatively successful start to life in his role. With four clean sheets in that run,
the Ibrox team has a strong chance of making it to the Europa League knockout stages.
The one draw came against Sparta Prague, which was a valuable away point.
Unfortunately, Rangers now have 12 games in 37 days following the international break,
which include a Via play Cup Final, league matches against Aberdeen, Celtic, and Hearts,
as well as a trip to Spain to play Real Betis.
The first encounter is on Sunday at Pittodrie versus Aberdeen,
and Clement’s team will have to be far better than the one that lost 3-1 at Ibrox in Michael Beale’s farewell game as manager.
Following that, they have a Europa League home match against Aris Limassol,
which might determine whether they advance to the knockout stage if they win,
before playing Dundee in the Premiership.
After that, they have a trip to Hearts, Dundee at home, Real Betis away in the Europa League,
the Viaplay Cup Final against Aberdeen, and then, spread out over ten days during the festive season,
there’s St Johnstone, Motherwell, Ross County, a trip to face Celtic, and a home match against Kilmarnock.
